2 Down, +30 To Go

As part of our end-of-the-year clean up/fix/restoration project at our house, we finally took down 2 old trees from the back of the house:

- An apple tree that served late night dinner for the local deer community.
- An unknown-type rotten tree that served as housing for homeless woodpeckers.

Sorry fellows, no more loitering.

Come And Get Me!

With Google's latest "Blog Search" feature I'm a little bit concerned with Technorati, I have used Technorati for the longest time and I would hate to see Google "taking over" Technorati's blog-search capabilities...hey! Maybe Google will buy Technorati, you know how this tech companies buy other companies like a "Monopoly" game. Microsoft is not alone on the game board.

After all, is just geek stuff with a few pingbacks. :)

An amazing and sound-distorted experience at the same time. Amazing because you really realize there's a human being inside another human being, and sound-distorted because no matter the type of equipment your doctor has, the heartbeat will sound like a Pac-Man machine with blown-out speakers

Offline

Today we're down for a few hours because we swapped our cable modem. Comcast is rolling out their speed upgrades and our old cable modem wasn't able to achieve these new speeds.

Now we're back with a new modem and definitely we can see the difference. If you want to run a speed test, you can try this site.
